Cement Pipe Factory Workers Protest Over Unpaid Wages

Ahvaz Cement-Pipe Factory workers gathered this morning to protest unpaid wages. Workers unit of HRA reports Ahvaz Looleh-Betoni Factory workers gathered this morning at Shohada Square to demand 10 months of unpaid wages.

Reports suggest that security forces were present at the scene of the protest but there are no reports of clashes between the demonstrators and the police. The labor protest was well received by other citizens who joined in and chanted anti-government slogans in support of Looleh-Betoni workers. Workers of Looleh-Betoni Factory have planned to gather again tomorrow for a protest over their working conditions.
