Student Gets Banned From University
Human Righs Activists in Iran
A disciplinary committee has banned a Kurdish student activist from University for two semesters. The student committee of HRA reports that the disciplinary committee of Razi University of Kermanshah has summoned dozens of students in the recent weeks. The disciplinary committee has banned Ashkan Mosiban, a student activist and one of the publishers of Taghen Vasan (University’s student newsletter), from the university for two semesters for disturbing the public order in the University and organizing illegal gatherings. Scores of student activists have been called to university disciplinary committees all over the country ahead of the new school year. Many students have been banned from university temporarily or indefinitely.
